SO, WHY DOES THIS MATTER TO ME?
Well, communication is a difficult and subtle art, whether it is verbal, written, or visual. All three are intertwined, but visuals enhance the delivery of these messages.
Understanding design is important in that process, and the most fulfilling thing for me to practice. Everything I see whether that be road signs or food packaging sparks the analytical part of my brain that doesn’t turn off. I always wonder, “How can this be better? How can we make this easier to understand? More accessible? More wonderful?” My instinct for design has great potential to positively impact more people than one would think.
